Our Mission

Congo Emissions Management works to mitigate climate change, preserve biodiversity, and  improve livelihoods through an innovative and economically sustainable  approach to forest preservation.

What We've Achieved

  • 187,571 hectares of rainforest protected from logging and new roads

  • 1,729 students attending schools supported by the project

  • 51 tilapia ponds built with 842 tilapia fry distributed

  • Increased protein consumption in 48% of local households

  • 12 women-focused workshops empowering 293 women to with actionable approaches to alleviate poverty

  • 100 farmers employing new, sustainable techniques

  • 8 seed exchange events providing 1,044 kg of peanuts, 22kg of beans, and 10 kg of corn giving 92 families sustainable supply of seeds.
