Brandon Blattner

Brandon is the current CEO of Congo Emissions Management and has been involved with the Isangi REDD+ project since its inception in 2009.

In fact, when Don Tuttle first proposed the Isangi REDD+ project to the Blattner family, it was Brandon’s influence that tipped the scales and resulted in ~ 320,000 hectares of primary rainforest being converted from logging to environmental concessions in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This passion and sense of urgency to protect the forest is rooted in a childhood fascination with the forests and wildlife, coupled with a deep love for the beauty, vibrancy and potential of the DRC.

Holding a degree in Economics from Emory University and a J.D. from Fordham University of Law, his career has been marked by a drive to champion the wonders of the DRC in the larger collective consciousness.
